There are no golf communities in Syracuse area per se. However, there are several very attractive developments built next to golf courses. They include:
Country Club Drive on the west side near Belleview Country Club and in the Westhill school district. Prices around $200,000.
Pointe East on Drumlins Golf Course just a short hop from the university. Townhouses run from about $140,000 an single family homes from about $225,000. Two builders are operating in that development, The Fowler Organization and Heritage Homes.
Drumlins Terrace is an older street but overlooks the golf course. Ranch style homes sell for about $120,000.
Erie Village is between Minoa and Manlius and is on a new golf course. Townhouses built in the 1970's sell for under $100,000 and new single family homes for about $160,000 and up. The school district is East Syracuse-Minoa.
Cavalry Woods is built on Calvary Golf Course and is a developemnt of about 10 townhouses that sell for about $275,000 to over $300,000. As the prices indicate, this is a very pleasant area for people preferring townhouse living. Most of the homes are on 3 floors with balcony's overlooking the course.
Marvelle Road is a culd-de-sac on Onondaga Country Club. Several of the expensive homes overlook the greens and fairways. Lyndon Road is also near this golf couse.
Village Green north of the city is on Foxfire Golf Course. This large development includes various types of housing, from single family homes to townhouses, in a wide range of prices. Some of the properties overlook or are adjacent to the greens and fairways.
Radisson with its trails through the woods, club house and tennis courts is near Baldwinsville and in the Baldwinsville School District. Townhouses sell from $70,000 up and newly built single family houses range from $180,000 to $250,000 or even more.
